Possible SE Area Pub Meet Feb/March

Hi Scampers,

Would anyone in the South East be interested in an off season pub meal in late February to Mid March 2014. I known a pub that welcomes Kit Cars, Classic Cars etc., and is not too "snooty" not far from Junction 5 of M25.
It is called the Woodman nearest towns are Sevenoaks and Westerham.
I could liaise with "wezgit" and make this happen; I would love to meet some of my "old" scamping friends.
If their is some interest I will find out the Post Code and get some possible dates and prices from the pub; I assume weekends are the  best for most people.

March would work well. We have the Leicestershire pub meet around the beginning of February so a southen pub meet between then and before Detling would be great.

Does it matter if it is a Saturday or Sunday? As you can guess I am a bit out of touch with what works or doesn't work for you guys at the moment!

What are the max and minimum numbers at these kind of events?

Looking at the calendar for 2014, and James' post the two best weekends appear to be the 8/9th and 15/16th March.
IMO 23rd is too close to Detling and the 2nd a bit too near the Leicestershire Pub do.

The location of the pub (The Woodman) is Goathurst Common near Ide Hill; Nearest Town is Sevenoaks: Pub Post Code TN14 6BU.

Quick thought, will I need to find out about "veggie" options for anyone?

Don't they do chips then  

They do chips but could be cooked in fat of some kind, so maybe not totally vegie friendly!
I prefer roasts however!

I will initially go for Sunday 16th March, Lunch Time, say gather around 12:15 for a sit down meal about 13:00. They do Bar Snacks if required, usually have a couple of Real Ales on tap.

The car park is big enough to cater for 20+ Scamps. I will need fairly accurate numbers about 2-3 weeks before the event though!

Post code TN14 6BU, nearest motorway junction M25 Junction 5.

Tried this link, it gets me to the Diary Page but I can see only information on the IMM; nothing on the Pub meet at The Woodman.

Just a thought are you using Windows 8 ?

Try pressing F5 to refresh the page. If that doesn't work clear your history out.

The problem can only be that your browser has a copy of the page saved (cached) for quick reference and is retrieving that: unfortunately it's out of date.

If you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8, click on Tools | Internet Options, then on the General tab (which should be displayed) under Browsing history, click Settings. You can then opt to check for newer versions of stored pages.

Hope to meet up, but I am now working mainly weekends, so it may not be possible to attend this meet. I will need to see the rota which is published on 31st December.

Thanks for the "Heads - up"; really hope you can make it, very early days yet!

The pub diary only works two months in advance!!

So it will be mid to late January before I need provisional numbers and 2-3 weeks before 16th March, say late FEB 2014 before I need a firm commitment.

It's a reletively local one for me so count me in.
We have also got Brooklands Mini meet around that time which is sometimes quite popular although the weather was against us this year.............we had snow and was bloody freezing!
