SE Pub Meet
Thanks Again Chris for your support for this meet, I am afraid I hadn't thought about a clash with the Brooklands Mini meet.
It maybe possible to move the pub meet by a week if there is a clash; but would rather NOT do so unless absolutely necessary.
One idea I did have is that as we are only about 20/25 miles from Rowfant MAYBE a visit to the SCAMP Motor Co., might be arranged. Of course Andy MAC would have to agree and numbers etc. limited.
Any thoughts about this idea?
Best regards NG Guy.

SE Pub Meet Update
Hi Scampers,
I have had a short chat with Andy about the possibility of a visit to the Scamp Motor Company at Rowfant, either before or after the SOC Woodman Pub meet in March.
In principle he has agreed to allow six scamps to visit.
Anyone who wants to take up this kind offer, please send me a PM this side of Christmas and I will liaise with Andy to (hopefully) make this happen.
Priority will be given to those actually driving a Scamp on the day!
Best regards RobG aka NG Guy

SE Area Pub Meet
Good Man Chris!
That makes about four of us so far, but early days yet!
Still looking for that elusive "right Scamp", so at the moment I will be in the NG TA.

SE Area pub meet etc.
Happy New year Scampers!
I have provisionally booked the Woodman for this event and will need numbers by the end of February, this is a Child friendly pub; but I will need to know if anyone is bringing a young person under 16.
The pub has several different areas some being close to the bar; thus not quite as child friendly as a more secluded spot.
The other consideration is whether those going to the Scamp Motor Co., want to do so before or after the pub meet; OR do we try a different day for this?
Any problems (ref this meeting) please contact me via this forum.
Best regards RobG.

SE Area Pub Meet small update
Hello Scampers,
Checked out the Woodman today, things have changed a bit since my last visit.
Good News food is even better; but prices increased a bit, typical main meal price now £12, desert extra. They do cater for children and have a children's menu at reduced rates. Also 3 or 4 Real Ales on tap - for non-drivers obviously!
However Bar Snacks are no longer an option on a Sunday!
Very Car Club friendly - today there were a number of TVR's and a group of 240Z'ds in the car park.
Please could those who are going to this event, have some thoughts on how best to integrate the Scamp Motor Co. visit.
In the mean time enjoy the Leicester Pub Meet !!
Regards RG.

FURTHER Update to Woodman Meet
Andrew Maclean,
Has said he will be at this Meet from about 12;15 and invites a small number of Scampers back to the Scamp Motor Co., after the meeting to have a look at the current birthplace of the illustrious SCAMP!
Camera's allowed!
I hope this will be an added incentive for some of you to attend this meeting!!
Best regards Rob and Happy Scamping!!!

It will be great to meet you too!
From your avatar it looks like you have a rather nice Mk3, hope you can bring it to the meet.
Thanks again WILL book you three places; any children in your party? If so will get somewhere not to close to the Bar Area?
Best regards Rob G, aka NG Guy.

Final Call
Hi Scampers,
Final Call for the SE meet next Sunday, I have about 10 people coming to the sit down meal and about 4, for the Scamp Motor Co. visit afterwards - not bad; but can we do better (especially for the meal)!
Due to the nature of the pub layout, I can't be sure that any one turning up "add Hock" (not pre-booked) will be seated in the same area which rather spoils things; so if you haven't mentioned that you are coming as yet I need to know today!
Happy Scamping, RobG aka NG Guy.

Thanks Adam,
I will put you on the meal list; but if you can't make it at the last minute, you won't be charged for a meal.
I am sure the pub are used to small last minute variations in "Party" sizes.
Regards Rob.

Woodman Pub Meet
It was really good to see so many people at the Woodman Meet today. I think there were 14 of us in total!
There were 4 Scamps, Adam's Mk3 and 3 Mk1 's (Barry, Chris and John H), plus my NG TA.
A special thank you to Andrew for allowing us all back to the Scamp Motor Co.
I really liked the "updated Mk1" a WIP at the moment! Plus all the other interesting projects going on at the moment.
I would also like to thank Chris for leading the Convoy after the road closure down to the Scamp Motor Co., and last but not least a big thank you to Adam for the lift from the pub to Andrews then home again.
Best regards RobG.
