Only a few more days to go!
We can't commit to any other events at the moment, so we're really looking forward to being at this one!

Re: February Pub Do
Right, I'm hoping to get away from work by 11.30am tomoz.
Now, if I can get away with not washing my hair, I'll be there just after 12.... but if it does need a wash I won't be there much before 1pm (takes quite a while to dry).

Re: February Pub Do
Well i have just given my Scamp its first runout of the year along the test track that some call the M54.
Touch wood all went well, only the bits that weren't working last year are not working.
i will be using the "Wash and Go" approach so Scamp and i should be there by 12

Re: February Pub Do
Thank you to everybody for turning up we had a really good day, that then progressed into the night, and ended with a madras. Perfect!
We hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did. I think I managed to speak to just about everybody, and they all seemed happy.
The G&D were a member of staff down, so they were pretty rushed off their feet at times, but I think they did alright. It's a nice pub that has very good entertainment on in the evenings...... Mmmm, I might have a word with them about a camp over when it's a bit warmer, and they've got the marquee up... Hey, Oompah night could be a laugh!
The fog was very thick in places, and must have been a nightmare for the travellers. Fingers crossed everyone got home without any events.
We're off to The Waterman for another car club meet this afternoon, if anybody's in the area... Might be an idea to text/ring us first though, sometimes we're there for hours & hours, and sometimes we only stay for a couple of drinks.
Hoping you all have a good Sunday as well.
Elaine Still woke up at 04.45 this morn & Reg.

Re: February Pub Do
Leanne, Hattie & Jenson made it and had a great time and I sprinted home to get up to the pub for about 8:30 pm to spend some time with the remaining Scampers.
Well done Chris & John for making the effort to come oop north, I know it's a long trip from the south coast. We'll have to repay you by coming down to Hastings in a few months time.
28 people attended (i think) so a good turn out and no need to do any off-roading either, which is nice!

No worries, glad the sugar tanker fire didn't affect your journey home.
James, we counted 30 people in total, 25 adults, and 5 children.

We'd forgotten to count Mark Irish and Mike Bingham.
It must be my age!

You've obviously not driven on the A21 lately. The potholes could swallow an artic nevermind a little yellow scamp!
Thanks everyone for a great time, see you again soon. Thanks also to Chris for a thrilling journey through the fog!!
I've nearly warmed up now and my hearing is slowly coming back. Should be OK by Stoneleigh.
