February Pub Grub do - 9th Feb at the George & Gragon
You are cordially invited to the first Scamp do of the 2013 season.
http://www.georgeandragon.co.uk/
That's right, it's the pub meet at the George & Dragon near Coalville in Leicestershire. We'll be there from noon on the 9th. For those that want to hang around we'll retire to the Rag & Mop in the evening and as always there's dossing down space for those who want to stay over.
The pub is easy to get to being on the A512 only a few miles from Junction 13 of the A42 (M42) and Junction 23 of the M1.
For those with a Sat-Nav it's;
The George & Dragon, Ashby Road, Thringstone, Coalville - LE67 8UH

We should be coming along provided we're not moving house that weekend in which case any volunteers to help unload boxes will be rewarded with bacon sarnies and beer
Might even be in a Scamp

Re: February Pub Grub do - 9th Feb at the George & Gragon
Sorry, we won't be there. I'll be at work, and I'm also doing the '6 Pack Abs in 6 Weeks' challenge! So my diet is quite limited for the duration.
I'm only on Week 1, so wish me luck! I'm finding avoiding the 'banned' foods quite easy, it's not that different from how we already eat, but the twice daily work-outs are killers!!
And I believe Mr J will be at a dig, up to his waist searching for WWII relics.
Hope you all have a great time,
Elaine&Rich.

Finger's crossed we should be coming but it all depends on if our house purchase goes through on Friday or not. Meant to exchange today but no idea if it's actually happened and the solicitors appear to have taken this afternoon off

For anyone stopping over I thought that we'd go up to the Aeropark, weather permitting on the Sunday.

Are you still up the Rag 'n' Mop later? We should be able to make it up there for a few hours in the evening.

What sort of time will you be in there, roughly? I'll try to fit our Cow Nation work around it.

On previous experience I bet it will be 5:30pm to 6:00pm. We'll be at ours before then if you want to pop in beforehand.
Re: February Pub Grub do - 9th Feb at the George & Gragon
James and Leanne, thanks to you both for another brilliant weekend, although I am still haunted by the sight of the lower half of Chaz's torso hanging over the side of Jenons bed!! The drive back was somewhat interesting, after the electrics to the radio and sat-nav gradually failed because they were waterlogged, the engine started popping and banging for the last 20 miles(water in the ignition system),I think that everytime I went past a lorry 50% of the spray came through the gaps in the hood!! Interesting!!!!
