Re: rubber cone compresses needed
Well the only other option I can offer is that I send it down to you by carrier tomorrow or Tuesday, but that will cost about £7.00.
Give me a ring if you still have my number.

Re: rubber cone compresses needed
In my limited experience...
1) Take the top arm out,
2) Pop the knuckle joint out of the arm,
3) Feed the cone & hi-lo into the subframe,
4) Partially fit the top arm shaft thro (leaving the end plate off)
5) Swear several times & you can press the knuckle joint in,
6) Fit the shaft & end plate,
Job Done.
In my case add in some more steps...
1a) Remove engine mounts,
1b) Jack the engine up 1 1/2"
6a) Knacker the threads on the shaft & replace,
7) Lower the engine & refit the engine mounts.
Some additional steps have been removed due to too much swearing !!
2 front cones now replaced....almost a soft ride now !

now have 2 new top arm bearings and 2 new Avon cones from minisport , they are about 1/2 and inch taller than dunlop ones so just having top arms out didnt work! even with the hi lo adjusted to the smallest setting .It might still make it to stourport
