hi i have just bought a mk3 scamp and am in the process of building it up and would like to no why there is a square box made of angle iron that fits in side the existing box iron support for the roof this scamp has never been on the road and is not registered

yes it goes a long the top of the window screen and over the top off the doors and along the back just above the back of the front seats the roof can be riveted to it and it can be lifted out
