Went on Sunday, but only stayed about 2hrs. I managed to spend £236 in that time (headed straight to the stalls for what we needed).
Rang James on Monday to ask him to pick some seats up that we'd seen, so spent another £120 over the phone!
Couldn't stick around any longer, commitments at home....
Didn't go around the stands, so no pix here (sorry).

Re: Stoneleigh ??????
Sorry boss, other things on me mind at the moment, Linda's mum is gravely ill and that seems to take up alot of time at the moment. But, John and Jan got there in their Mk 1 with caravan on the back and my Mk 1 made it as well with my caravan on the back, we got some funny looks, not sure weather it was me or the sight of a Scamp towing a caravan!!!!! We managed to muster 9 Scamps on the Sunday and I think it was 6 on the Monday. Sunday night we sat out under the stars supping a few ales, swapping a few tales and Dave was leading the planes into land on Stonleigh kit car show with his big powerful torch!!!!! 17 of us sat down for dinner at the Piza Hut and the normal mayhem was insued, right who hasn't paid??????????????? When I do get around to checking the pictures on my camara I will send it to our leader, leader, leader of the gang etc.etc.etc.

Re: Stoneleigh ??????
Well apart from it being a little cold we had a great time. 11 Scamps on the Sunday and a very disapointing 5 cars on the Monday.
It was nice to see old freinds again but a shame that more Scampers didn't make the effort to come along.
Anyway, here are a few photos to wet your appetite, the rest will be on the Club website shortly.

Sorry to hear about Linda's mum - where's your lightweight caravan's ? its always cold at Stoneleigh, its too dam hot here - 36 edging to 40 during the day and 26 in my apartment (without the ac on), looks like a fair line up from Jame's pictures - I'm flying back on 22nd May to have a week with Mrs Spindler aka Nettie, hope to drag our caravan to Mike's do then on to the Isle of Angelsy to chill out and do a bit of walking.
I have heard that Rick and Rosie have put their hands up to stand for Pres and Sec respectively and you have voiced an interest in being the next Scampers Editor is that right

Yep that's right,if Mr.Bridger wants to hang his blotting paper up I have volanteered to continue the rag. As for Linda's Mum, I'm afraid she passed away today after a long struggle with lung problems that were complicated by cdif. I hope to get to Mike & Wendy's do, obviously if we can get things cleared up down here in time, we could all do with a little light releif at the moment.

Re: Stoneleigh ??????
Our condolences to your family.
If you do indeed take up the editorship it might be time to have a change from the B5 booklet to something else and a more user friendly publishing software but that is up to you - one that could export the magazine in pdf so it could be emailed to members but still posted to members that want a hard copy.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Reg's grandad has just died as well.
We think you'll make a great editor, thanks for volunteering. And the same goes to Rick & Rosie who we believe are offering to take on the roles of President and Secretary.

Re: Stoneleigh ??????
Cheers yow all,and thanks for your kind thoughts.Might not make it to Mikes do though as the funeral is on the Friday before, and I think we have got half of Leicestershire coming so we will have to show them lots of southern things like buying beer at mega bucks a pint, and showing them what the sea looks like and things like that.Might try and make it for a day if I can, that's if Linda's o.k.
