Mk2 on Ebay Empty Q512 AFG

Post  Rum Tum Tugger Sat Oct 08, 2016 8:59 am

This first appeared in Scampers, Summer 1990 issue, for sale by G. Harris.

For sale on eBay, Dec 2010 by forum member Woody9067 as an unfinished restoration job. From his posts (here) it looks as though he'd been working on it for a couple of years before a house move scuppered the project.

It next turns up in April 2014, bought by forum member Rhosj and partly restored by him (see his posts).  It was for sale on the forum the following Jan with an asking price of £1200, then on eBay for a bit more.

I don't know whether Rhos got anywhere near the asking price, but the car was for sale in April this year, with an asking price of £525.

Incidentally, does anyone know if silver-on-black number plates (street legal only on pre-1973 cars) are ANPR-readable?

I'm sure that i got zapped during the summer on the way to the Far Forrest Show.
Motor bike cop through his screen. I was doing 48 in a 40 limit (allegedly)
