Actually - it probably makes it cheaper than it was last year if you only had one arm band for two people, doesn't it Chaz?

Chris
The spot we had last year was fine by me - nothing to do with the FREE fairground rounds to keep the kids happy of course

Re: GAYDON MINI SHOW 1st JULY 2012
Hi Chris
Letter arr a couple of days ago.
Confused, I am. The letter does not really clarify things does it.
I will be aiming to arrive about 9am complete with Gazebbo and aim for the grassy knoll (watch out for the snipers) we were on last year.

Re: GAYDON MINI SHOW 1st JULY 2012
Just got back from Gaydon. Was good to meet up with Chris and Chris as we hadn't been anywhere that they had so far this year. Also met up with Rob K - minus Scamp! - (Well, he had brought a little bit with him in the boot of his car!)
The weather was reasonably kind - in comparison to a few other days this week! Hopefully Chris Y will get home without getting wet!
The pricing system for entry was a mess but I think we all managed to get in without being charged a fortune as others we met had been! Trade stands were light on the ground and so were auto-jumbles. We did get to meet a new possible future member - sorry, didn't get your name if you get on here! - would be good to see you at an event at some point, and there was another Scamp parked on a mini club stand just behind us - though the driver denied owning it!
Chris W is probably still on his way home! He is following his friend home who bought his daughter a very tidy mini from the show. Not sure that I would fancy buying a mini then driving it 165 miles home! I suppose at least he has a personal mechanic behind him! (And I hope RAC or AA cover!!!)
See some of you at Himley next week- if the weather allows it! Watch this space!

Gaydon Show
I got home after a good day at the show, without getting wet.

Re: GAYDON MINI SHOW 1st JULY 2012
Well, did the Mini make it back?................................Of coarse it did,no problems and Rachael was extatic. A strange day weatherwise, a bit of sun, wind and rain, but the 4 Scamps amongst such a crowd of donor vehicle with spares everywhere.Good meeting up with everyone, probably see most of you all at Stourport.

Re: GAYDON MINI SHOW 1st JULY 2012
With ref to Chris Y's link to the Gaydon pics
The yellow one is a recently bought Mk2 by a chap from Bedford. He is hoping to get to Stourport.
The Cam job belongs to someone from Lincoln, the driver wouldnt admit to owning it and said it belonged to his mate.
