Thanks for that Steve - you beat me to it!!
Yes we do have a club stand booked for the Scamp Owners Club.
My only problem is that I am trying to get hold of Nettie so that I can get the club banner off her. Have tried the number on back of scamp mag but it was dead - any help anyone please would be appreciated.
Anyone got any questions then give me a shout and I will try to help (I only mean about the show!!!)
Hope to see you there and that this horrible rain will give us a break.

Hi Deb and Colin
Have you got any times for this weekend please.
As we have a stand we normally have to get there before the punters.

Had confirmation that club stand people can get in from 8.30 onwards. Gates open to general public from 10.30 onwards.
I understand that yes you can take club stand vehicles in on a trailer.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

Re: National Mini Show.
I have looked on Stanford Hall/ Mini World website and at mo there is no mention of flooding probs.
For those who have not been there before it is your standard "Lord of the Manor" house with a river running down the side, along which the club stands and "minis" are normally parked
The punters park on the left as you go in.
Warning!! For those using the M1/M6 juction below the M/way there is a double roundabout, KEEP IN THE LEFT HAND LANE and take the small turn off, if you dont you end you end up going down the dual carrige way A14 to Cambridge and its a good few miles before you can turn round .
Hope to see lots of you there and bring your towing gear, maybewe can make a few bob towing the punters out

All still going ahead as planned. National Mini Owners who organise the show tell me that the ground is still ok and not flooded.
Looks as though the weather may be half decent - well at least dry anway. (Still keep your fingers crossed just incase!!).
Hope to see you all tomorrow. Hope people turn up. This is the first thing I have organised for the SOC and worried that it will be a flop!!
Cheers.

Thanks Deb
Deb and Colin
Thanks for organising the do
I think that everyone who went, after a foggy start to the day, enjoyed themselves.
Well worth the entry money even for a sole occupant like me.

Glad you enjoyed yourself Rob. I think it turned out to be a good day. The sun shone for us and the rain stayed away.
Thanks to everyone who turned up. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves as Rob did. Had 6 scamps on the stand, and a few other people turned up whose scamps are still 'unhealthy!'. Was pleased with the turnout considering it was a mini show and not a kit car show.

Yep, Thank you it was a very good day. Don't know how you managed to organise such lovely weather - perhaps you could arrange some similar for next years Birmingham Bash!
Anyway. Hope everyone got home s and s. We saw Mk 3 Rob at the M5/M6 split-didn't see Jono again after he stopped to 'check' his straps. Hope they were alright and you just took your time on the way home.
See you all in December,
Thanks again, Lin and Tony

Pink Scamp
James/Colin
The pink Scamp we saw today, was that the same one that was detailed in the build projects on the old Forum?
Surely there cant be two using that same colour.

Re: National Mini Show.
Blimey… what a "corker" of a day! Who says the Sun only shines on the righteous?
Sunny weather, plenty of tat to poke around in and some fine, fine examples of engineering brilliance and ingenuity. My "car of the show" wasn’t actually a car…. But for sheer brilliance and attention to detail.. the "Party Trailer" won hands down.
See y’all at X-mass.

Re: National Mini Show.
We had planned to go but as it was peeing down with rain when we got up we decided not to bother. Wish we had now!!
Yes, the pink Scamp will be Nick's. I'm still to see it in the 'flesh' as he hadn't quite got it on the road the last time we saw him.

Re: National Mini Show.
Superb!
What a great day. Good weather & good company, six Scamps at our first National Mini Show.
Thank you to Debbie & Colin for putting it all together. I really enjoyed myself.
Will you do a write up for the magazine? maybe we can get a few armchair Scampers to come along to these kind events?
Possibly we can do a few more next year?
