Life Expectancy Calculator
Me and Mr J completed this the other day, and were literally in hysterics at my results.....
Now, I know I tend to follow a healthy lifestyle, and thankfully my family all seem to have a long and trouble free innings, but even so....
107 that's friggin ridiculous!!!
Here, have a go yourselves: www.livingto100.com
No wonder I haven't had a midlife crisis yet!

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
If i answer the questions i know answers to , i'm already living on borrowed time !!!

Thankfully the caffeine intake questions didn't go high enough for my usual levels, else i'd have been dead before i was born.....
Through massaging the answers i can get to 98...

So are you going to implement the 'massaged' bits, or can't you be bothered to live that long? LOL

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
Life expectancy of 94 (but probably with a mental age of 3).

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
I notice that the multiple-choice first question (date of birth) disallows any existing centegenarians.

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
Well, unlike some of you I had to scroll down the list to find my birth year!

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
I think you're a bit younger than my parents, and they still act like spring chickens, so you ain't that old in my book!
Especially seeing as I could see 107!!

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
I have just clocked at 73
That will just be about the Gov retirement age
Mind you that doesnt take into account my knackered back which went again as i was spraying the porcellin yesterday

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
mmmm - 89
Could be better but I guess the fact that, so far, I only had 1 grandparent reach 70 and he died in his early 70s - along with my dad (72), My family history is not that brilliant.
The fact that my mum is nearly 80 and still very strong and fit, 89 sounds about right and 89 sounds ok to me.
Yep, I'll go with that. If I get a few more years and am still healthy enough to enjoy life, all to the good.

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
I'm massaging like mad...caffiene intake drastically reduced, now down to only 12 shots per day, fag intake halved, i've even started parking in the next space in the car park at work so i have to crawl further to work.... mind you did have a debauched night out last night & had a pint of Stella shandy !
Personally i'm not too worried about physical age, with my mom suffering from dementia (early 70's), i'm more concerned about how long i'll keep whats left of my marbles...

Re: Life Expectancy Calculator
Like you,my mother suffered from dementia for the last 10 years of her life, and she died aged 84,that's why when the calculator said 94 I estimated my mental age would be 3!!
