Re: Chassis Plates, would anyone be interested??????
Most definately!!!!!
I prefer the square one (It matches a Scamp) but I'll go with either option.
BTW, Do you know where to buy a set of the letter stamps that produce the raised letters used on a chassis plate?

Google is your friend http://www.steelstamps.com/reverse-character-hand-stamps.htmlTRR Motorsport wrote:BTW, Do you know where to buy a set of the letter stamps that produce the raised letters used on a chassis plate?

Although I'm not convinced it would work properly, when I use our normal stamps the reverse of the plate doesn't get a reverse image of the stamp due to the surface (wooden block) I'm resting the plate on squashing the image, if you see what I mean.
Re: Chassis Plates, would anyone be interested??????
I would also be interested. I think the square one would look better

Square one's for me, please Reg
Good job that the Eng No. says "As Engine"
or else we would needa bulk order each
Wouldnt we Colin
There again you could have one of each and put reg no on one and chassis no on the other.
Might help the mk2's come MoT time.

Re: Chassis Plates, would anyone be interested??????
I've just emailed Chris (the chap who makes them), to ask him timescales, etc. I've also told him to make just the square one as this seems to be the most popular.
As soon as they are ready and on his website, I'll let everyone know.

Re: Chassis Plates, would anyone be interested??????
I'd be interested in a couple too. I prefer the round Austin style ones but the square ones fit in more with Scamps.

Thought I'd get one for Florence, do we buy from you Reg or through the website?
Suggestion to get a professional finish why not get your chssis number engraved instead of stamps and a hammer.
