Re: Scamp 40th Anniversary Plaque
I'm currently looking at a "Rally" Plate.......
It could be used as a Rally Plate, printed on T-Shirts, as stickers, badges etc
I've got someone looking at it at the moment.....but I might need some help with the arty side if it doesn't work out....

Re: Scamp 40th Anniversary Plaque
Dave I don't wish to pee on yer chips but been down this route several times, the cost is usually prohibited i.e. a run of several hundred, the artwork cost is usually horrendous, I did the do it yourself iron print rally t-shirts with a Scamp on the front and event dates on the back but with cost of the t-shirts, the iron sheets the ink etc they had to sell for a fiver each and that was several years ago. Unless the person is doing everything for free and supplying the t-shirts as well in all sizes you won't get people to buy them if they are more than a tenner each. James had a load of Scamp glass beer mugs done and could not get rid of them, we still have half dozen in the cupboard at home.

That would look really good on every Scamp in a convoy!muttley wrote:I'm currently looking at a "Rally" Plate.......

Martin, understand what your saying…and I’ve got a couple of
the Beer Glasses myself and the coasters….but I hoping a friend can have a go at the
artwork......nothing ventured nothing gained.
Have you still got the images used on the coasters.....?
Cheers

I’ve had a look at these…http://www.promotouch.co.uk/catalogue.html..they’re on the same industrial estate as Jonspeed! ie local to me !
They
seem to be able to print T-Shirts at very reasonable prices and can do
one offs or very limited quantities. There is a wide range of items and
they can print on to vinyl for banners. There is a setup cost for
embroidery and complex printing is more expensive.
I’m not sure whether they can do Mugs, Enamel Badges and the like but I can check………
They are willing to supply samples and examples of the various qualities of the T-shirts etc.
Have you still got the images used on the coasters.....?
Cheers

Re: Scamp 40th Anniversary Plaque
Cost isn't really an issue to us, if it's looks good we'll buy it.

Re: Scamp 40th Anniversary Plaque
I do have the Scamp outline - my philosophy is if your want something done cheap you do it yourself, I can do most things on my laptop, I was looking at "Rally" plates like they give out to everyone who enters the London to Brighton Min run which are printed on that hollow plastic that they use for estate agents signs, I will try and find out costs.
I believe we had some stickers done for the Scamps 30th - I think Rick said he still has his on his Scamp!

The global financial turndown has not reached Whitwick then? It must be nice not to have to worry about money!

Being tight barstools for many, many years is paying off at last, but I think it's our 'cars, not kids' motto that's saved us the most money.

It was me!
I now have a 'man' who can do stuff like that for us if he has the artwork say in a jpeg or bitmap format.
