Stourport Steam Rally
Nic tells us that Mike B and Bob made it to Stourport Steam rally today. She was not able to come over to see you as she was looking after the donkeys!
My brother(there with a classic caravan and Rover) went over and told her that he had seen a 4x4 Scamp and thought it might be a good idea to put Daisy on a Suzuki chassis! (she did not agree!) She then saw Rum Tum Tugger but was not able to go over and see Bob or Mike as she was with the donkeys on her own. I hope you both had a good day.
We were busy today and were thinking of going over tomorrow - is anyone else going to be there ? If not, we won't.

Re: Stourport Steam Rally
Aw, shucks! I'd have gone over and said hello if I'd known. Brenda & I did have a chat with Mike though.
I must confess that in one respect I was a bit disappointed - a huge event, but the traction engines & steam rollers only numbered about half a dozen. And only one Field Marshal amongst all the tractors. Maybe the rest were all out on the Road Run. On the other hand Brenda did get to enthuse over a couple of Triumph Herald estates, like the one she once owned. Dunno if it was a Christmas present, but she named it "Hark"...
