My scamp help please
good afternoon thanks to all here may people help me find reg of my scamp or any news on it be helpful i have tags chassis plate build number no reg was found under tarpaulin and want to save it to be honest

Re registration.
One way would be to Download from the DVLA web site and complete form V62 along with a fee of £25.00, but they do need the chassis number, from that information they would be able to advise and issue a V5 if appropriate. Hope that helps.

I do find your comment strange, about 3 years ago I purchased a Suzuki SJ without a v5 or registration number, I applied using the V62 form, supplied a photograph Of the chassis number and a general photograph of the vehicle and the dvla sent a V5c.
The only thing I do know about the dvla they did update there computer system in the 70’s and if the new style V5c Was never issued then there is no chance of tracking down the registration number from them. More info can be found on www.buffbooks.co.uk document INF57

I agree with what your saying but dvla are not really helpful at all i was on phone to them the other day for a long time asking questions and was told if no paper or anything with reg then its a big chance nothing will be given

I still think you should go down the path of filling in the form etc, that way it appears on a persons desk and they would have to go through the process of checking the records, you never know you might get the result you require, good luck.
