Sales brochure etc?
Is there any sales brochure's build manuals or any other similar info for Scamps on here?

Re: Sales brochure etc?
No sales brochures and no build manuals only a wealth of knowledge available from club members - you only have to ask

Re: Sales brochure etc?
There never were any build manuals, for simple tax reasons: in 1969, DIY kits were subject to purchase tax, but the individual parts - even supplied as a complete set - were not. The nearest RM could get away with was to include some general advice and an exploded drawing (here) in the publicity blurb.
Among the general advice was a suggestion that the brake and clutch pedals be shortened by a good inch, otherwise you would have to operate them with your heels.

Re: Sales brochure etc?
There's some sales brochures for the MK3's and GT3's as I have copies They come up on Ebay fairly regularly just set a search up. Mine cost about £15 which is at the top end of prices but they're absolutely mint and included stuff like price lists for parts which the seller didn't put in the listing so not a bad price in the end. If anyone's interested I'll scan them and turn them into a pdf.

SCAMP BROCHURES ARE ON SCAMP OWNERS CLUB WEBSITE
Some while ago these were put on the Scamp Owners Club website.
Chris asks if anyone has a MK2 brochure to complete the set.

Completely missed those
If Chris would like the other Mk3 brochures as single pages for the website drop me a message and I'll sort it out.

Re: Sales brochure etc?
A while back a whole load of Mk1 bumpf came up on ebay, factory photographs, sales bumpf, newspaper articles etc.,quite a package.Needless to say I bid on them knowing that the only person who had the photo's was Mr.Mclean himself, and won them fair and square. They were all coppies but very good ones.I am sure Andy would reel off another set(at a price)if you wanted.
