How mine used to look 15 years ago

A rather tired-looking unit, brightened up with a respray. "Engine turns over" - so not actually seized, but no mention of it firing, let alone starting. Hasn't stopped the bids though.

Incidentally LU5 is north of Dunstable, rather than Bedford which has an MK postcode.

A big thankyou to Andrew at the Scamp Motor Co who has informed me that this is a Genuine Scamp Mk3 extra long front (XLF) which was built in april 1994. it has original rear trailing arm extensions to take the larger wheels with full profile tyres. The winning bidder can contact Andrew who has kindly offered to share his works records to assist in registering the car and more help can be sought from the excellent Scamp owners club.


Might explain the high price for an un registered Scamp
