Rare original factory hardtop to fit a MK1 Scamp

This is the type with the "fins" or ridges along the roof line as featured in the Mk1 brochure in period.

Constructed of alloy, complete with tail gate. Needs a little TLC in areas but a fantastic very rare piece of scamp history.

Collection only from near Bampton, Oxfordshire.

Just down the road from RAF Brize Norton and me friend Julie.
Her family originate from Bampton.

I can confirm that this is the hardtop that was originally fitted to my Mk1, at least in winter.  I eventually sold it on as it needed work that would stretch my limited engineering abilities (ali welding), and I didn't want to risk damaging a rare and original item.  I did, however, hang onto the doors which came with it.

I think I was at that Peak District bash and the Mk1 looks like the one and only Rum Tum Tugger, hello Bob Lilley, how are things? I could be interested in the hard top for my Mk 1 (could then make it detatchable so I could use the Scamp in the winter months).
