If you private message someone then they should get a "flag" on the email address that is on their account. I have just changed mine as the one I had on there is defunct.
I know there are issues with using Facebook, but there are now 253 users on the Scamp Owners Club Facebook pages and it is kept quite busy with people's projects and events to entice any "Non members" to join our great club. I will try and keep more up to speed with the forum as well for those who don't use Facebook.
