Why would anyone need to be a paid member to send articles in? Surely you only need to be a member if you want to read them in the magazine, which if you've wrote it, you'll have already read it. Wink

New member says hi! Empty But surely ???

Post  GT3 Tyler Sun Oct 26, 2014 8:50 pm

But surely
If you write in you would like to see your article in the CLUB magazine
And to do that you need membership .?.?.?.

And also it's others reading the article and maybe giving others ideas
You may have seen it but surely you want others to as well .....

As you seem to be short for articles for the magazine, I would have thought that you would like a boost from non members (seeing that paid members aren't writing enough)..... Maybe I'm wrong... Question

New member says hi! Empty So what if ???

Post  GT3 Tyler Mon Oct 27, 2014 7:57 pm

Recently I have had a massive boost of articles from members. 👍👍
Enough to make two magazines cheers

So is that to say I should send magazines to non-members just because they have written in Laughing

If a non-member made the effort to write in, out of curtesy I'd send them a copy of the magazine containing their article. It would only seem fair and besides, they might like what they read and decide to become members. :-)

Yes it is polite to send a magazine if they write in

But when you join the club what do you join ?? for a magazine and to go to events and be on the club stand

If you send out magazines to non-members because they have written in

Where do you stop if loads of people wrote in where do you draw the Line of when to send the non-members magazines

I think that's one of those "cross that bridge when we come to it" situations.  If we do ever get to a position where the majority of magazine contributors are non-members, might that not tell us something?

Send the non member a copy of the current issue of the magazine by email so the club does not incurr any cost and encourage him/her to join the club.
