Record for Mk2?
With quite awhile to go on the e-bay auction bid is over £1350, is this a new record for a Mk2 by any chance?

Re: Mk2 Barn find on Ebay
Unfortunately I don't really trust anyone on ebay so it would be worth taking note the 3 negative feedback comments. I am always very suspicious of any item that has lots of bids this early.
Saying that I hope the winner really wants a MK2 and comes on here I won't be the only over enthusiastic newbie on here then !
I think this is it, at least you can see the reg number.

It will go for an incredible amount.
We will then see it up for sale again, without the rare-as-hens'-teeth 997 engine, at a sensible price.

Hens Teeth Engine
Well spotted, Rum Tum Tugger, missed that the engine was a rare one.
Hopefully it will be saved as a Scamp with a more mundane A or A+ engine.
Regarding e-bay quite right to be wary, wondered why there were so many early bids.
Cheers NG Guy.

£1650 - and then relisted with no changes or explanation. Curiouser and curiouser.

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.
