Re: Mk2 Barn find
It doesn't really look that much worse than my one, at least it's fairly complete. The lack of ID is the problem, but there is always a chance it could have a number stamped on it or a chassis plate somewhere.
If there was an old tax disc or even part of the old plate it might give some clues, I would go and have a look if it wasn't so far away.
I don't think that has ever been in a barn though. More like a ditch or hedge !

Re: Mk2 Barn find
I asked the guy selling this if it had any ID of any sort. He told me it does have a riveted plate and that the previous owner told him he does have the documents somewhere. He doesn't want to spend any time sorting it out though so it will probably end up getting scrapped.
I should add that the guy selling it said he did a site clearance and this was one of the cars that were removed.

Re: Mk2 Barn find
I asked him about that and he said he had checked it thinking it might be from the Scamp but it wasn't. You would have thought he might update the advert as they might get some interest if there was half a chance there was a logbook for it.SUMB wrote:Well that reg number belongs to a green Suzuki SJ410
