Mk1 on ebay
Hi there,
Nearly went for this Scamp about a month ago, it was then located in Essex, Clacton, I think. Also I believe it has appeared in the MINI World Mag at some time!
So it seems it was swapped for another car and had an MOT about the same time.
IMHO it does appear to be properly registered and would be worth about £1500 to
2k. Think this could be a good summer car for an SOC member.
Best regards Rob G.

Simple!
Sold house more quickly than expected - down sizing, so until "new" garage/off-road parking sorted nowhere to put it! The move itself, also soon, so just Bad Timing Really!
PS are you going to the Woodman this Sunday?
Regards RobG.

Hi James,
Pity would have been nice to see you and Leanne again, I expect to be going through similar activities in a couple of months time.
All the best Rob G.

Mk1 on Ebay
Hi Rob,
I will be very interested to see what it sells for, and see if my "guesstimate" is in the right ball-park.
The main (immediate) extra cost will be a hood unless you are extremely hardy and/or have a very tolerant other half!

Mk1 on ebay update
Current bid £1324, with just over an hour to go, so £1500 seems about right.
As OSR has said e-bay not necessarily the best place to get good money for a Scamp, especially if tax exempt!
Regards RobG.

Mk1 Final Call
The Winning Bid was just over £1750, so my "guesstimate" was spot-on.
Interestingly OSR said on a "good day" you might get £1800 for a Scamp on e-bay (though auction houses will do better but charge more) - Thanks OSR.
So has this raised the bar for a decent properly registered (Mk1) Scamp ?
Best regards Rob G.
