Hi there,
I am looking for a front grill of a Scamp Mk3 and a new (or preserved) MK1 bonnet.
I'd appreciate any help! Embarassed

The usual practise is to make your own (which, incidentally, is one reason why no two Scamps look alike).  Are you restricted by German road use regulations to using manufacturer's standard components?  Remember though that there is no such thing as a standard Scamp, as the SOC website photos prove.

The Mk1 bonnet, like most Scamp panels, is formed out of flat aluminium sheet and isn't too difficult to make: heck, even I managed it.  PM me if you need a pattern.  A Mk3 grille can be put together from square tube in steel or ali, or if the regs allow, you could substitute a flat panel in expanded ali.

Hi there,

If your local regs insist on manufacturer's standard components then I am sure Andrew Maclean could make these for you.
He is going to attend the pub meet near Sevenoaks (Kent) in about 3 weeks time (March 16th), I could make enquires; failing that his phone number is on the Scamp Motor Co., website>

Best regards RobG, aka NG Guy.
