Re: Vulcan flying at Cosby Victory Show, this SUNDAY
Flying In?
Please note that there is a grass air strip at the event site and that landing here is not permitted without prior arrangement with the organiser and flying display director.
Aircraft may NOT land on the surrounding fields, which are privately owned.
If you wish to fly in to the show, please note arrivals are strictly by prior permission.
All arrivals are to be on the ground by 12:45 and no departure will be pemitted until after the flying display has finished. If you are flying in from outside the UK we can help with arranging accomodation should you require it - please ask for details when contacting us. For all PPR enquiries, please email pprbookingrequest@gmail.com or phone Frank Marson on 07986 415711 (+44 7986 415711 from outside the UK). Note that crews of visiting vintage aircraft will receive free entry to the show. Other aircraft crews will pay the appropriate visitor entry charge. Pilots should be competent at strip operations and the aircraft must carry insurance that covers operations from unlicensed airfields.
Please note that no pilot or passengers of any visiting aircraft, once parked, will be allowed back to their aircraft until after the flying display terminates.
