What do you mean,I remember one year it was so hot that when cars were driven around the site they were actually taking the tarmac off.
And boy did that old toilet block stink!!!

opps...........................................
Well i left home at 1pm and got back at 6pm
I have just gone and done a Neil, but unfortunately it was my fault.
M42 road was wet, Freelander brakes are better than Scamps ................smack.
Tried to go down central reservation but it was not wide enough by about a foot.............bugger
I ended up with my LT front wing n bumper hooked around the front of his Rt rear tyre and wing and my wheel/ suspension around the back of his tyre
The c/van was parallelalmost touching the central reservation, scamp was at 90deg left and the Freelander was 45 deg from my lt wing.
The Highways people drove his Freelander over to the hard shoulder with my Scamp attached.
It took two tow trucks to pull us apart.
Good bit no one was hurt although my back is starting to stiffen up. The other driver couldnt have been more laid back about it. Him and his wife were on there way up to Whitby for the weekend from Gloster.
I'll try and send some pics to Wezgit for him to put on the forum.
Oh well i shall just have to watch the England game at home and get pissed.

All depends on whether the suspension has damaged the sub frame really.
The engine looks ok and the rad.
Oh and the bloody rad fan/belt is still (or was) screeching like buggery. Minor point now really

Sorry to hear about your altercation Rob, my sympathies. If you need a hand or some welding done, give me a shout, it's only a short trip up the m/way.
Back on topic....
Not going to be making Newark this year, got made redundant today
Time to tighten belt for a few weeks, got 4 weeks left to find a new job...Still if i can get a new job quick enough i might have some redundancy money left for some scamp investments .
Neil
