Himley Mini Day
Just had the info through for Himley this year.
6th May. £6 per person. It does say that tickets for club passes MUST be pre-booked this year - although I have a feeling that it said that last year!
Anyway, I will book a stand and, if you would like me to book you tickets and a car space on the stand, please let me know by Easter and I will send the form in then.
We had a fantastic turnout last year. Who knows, we might do even better this year.

(Rose, there is a bit about winners of their raffle cars and their present owners if you know who yours was sold to.)

Re: Himley Mini Day
That date doubles up with Stoneleigh Kit car show which is on the 6th and 7th of May.(on the website)
You could always do Brooklands though Tony.I have an email from Gaydon about their Mini festival, later in the year,I will put the details in the Mag which should be out shortly.

Thanks for pointing that out Chris.
Looks like Himley is out this year then - shame cos it is a good show but Stonleigh is too useful to miss and much more central.

Re: Himley Mini Day
They're only 45 miles apart - you could do Minis at Himley on the Sunday, get to Stoneleigh early enough to pitch your tent in daylight, and do Kit Cars all Sunday.
Afraid I shan't be making either of them this year though

Re: Himley Mini Day
Ok, after much deliberation - and certainly not wishing to upset anyone, we have decided that we are going to have a club stand at Himley.
We actually need quite a few mini bits and so have decided to forgo Stoneleigh - although we might just make it over there on Monday.
We will take our 3 family Scamps over and Callum is going to show his off for the first time.
If anyone does decide to come over for the day, we will have a kettle and tea/coffee for any visitors.
Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend - at Stoneleigh or anywhere else!

Re: Himley Mini Day
Okay, i have now gone from working Fri - Mon on nights to having booked them all off.
so
I will be attending Himley Hall on Sunday, going back up to Wolves and picking up The Mr Wippy van and coming across to Stonleigh in time for the "Bun Fight" and booze up Sun night.
Morrisons x2 bottles of &0cl Teachers for £20 bargain. I should have sobered up to come back home by Mon teatime

Re: Himley Mini Day
Yes folks, sorry, but it has indeed been cancelled due to ground conditions.
Apparently they are transferring all bookings to Utoxeter, 2nd September. Not sure if we want to go - or can do, so will ask for a refund for those who booked.
