Turkey Run - Leicestershire
This years turkey run will be in Leicestershire.
It will be on Tuesday 27th December.
Times and venue to follow but aiming to leave around 9.30 to make most of the short daylight hours that we have.
A pub can be booked for those that wish to stop for some midday grub.
So we could do with a rough idea of numbers to book a table.
More info to follow once i have thought of it myself!

Re: Turkey Run - Leicestershire
Hi Col & Deb
Its a possible/maybe from me
I know thats not alot of use, I did book the time off months a go, but my daughter (epileptic) hasnt been too good just lately and were trying to get her to go to her mothers in Suffolk for Xmas with me being the taxi driver.
but she's being a stubborn independant sod (I dont know who she gets that from) and wont commit.
I willkeep you posted
Rob

Turkey Run.
I am having to work Christmas Day so that I can be allowed the time off to do the Turkey Run.
So I will be there, just let me know where the meeting place is.

Details for Turkey Run
Hi All.
For those that are wanting to get a bacon butty before departure need to be at our house around 9.00 aming to leave 9.30-10.00
(PM if you need address)
Its taken a while but the delay has been finding a pub that is happy to take approx 20 wet and muddy people that which to stop for some grub.
Tables are booked for around 1.00pm but explained that we might be delayed a bit.

Charlie
I should think that the Scamps will be outnumbered by the Non's. The more the merrier.
Do you really think that us Scamps would be daft enough to go down some tracks if we didnt have the Non's 4x4 to pull us out again
Merry Xmas to one and all, see you on Tuesday

We didn't need 4x4's when off roading 10-20 years ago.Mk3rob wrote:

Unfortunately, I have a date with an AR15 and a farmer, so can't make the Turkey run.

I think Reg was getting at the fact that back in the day, Scampers (of all ages) really took pride in the fact that they didn't need 4x4's for even the harshest of green lanes...
