Rear seats MK2 scamp
Hi There
is it possible to fit legal back seats in the rear of a MK2 scamp?
If yes has anyone got any pics?
Cheers

Re: Rear seats MK2 scamp
If they fit, fit them
My Mk3 just has a bench seat, I pad for the seat and one for the back.
The only legality part is the fitting of seat belts, depending on age
or
wether you want to strop your little darlings down so they dont bounce out
Take a look at "Past events" photos there should be some in there.

Mine has a Transit seat in the back - not sure if it is a rear one from a mini-bus or the twin seat from the passenger side though. mikeandwendy should be able fill in the gaps as Mike fitted it.

Re: Rear seats MK2 scamp
Hi
Have a look at scamp picnic photos from the last few years and you will see my Mk2 scamp with the rear seats from a metro in it.
It can be done but doesnt give a lot of leg room in the back

Rear seats MKII scamp
The rear seats that we fitted in our MKII scamp, that Chaz now owns. were out of a transit (the front passenger seats).
with the lower framework cut off and angle iron welded across the bottom of the frame.
