Re: SCAMP PICNIC
LOL It's a bit short notice, we didn't even realise there was one this year (nothing on the forum, until now)....
Joking aside......... no sorry, we're working again! Who knows, we might be able to nip for a few hours on one of the days, but I doubt it.
Have fun folks,
E&R.

I'm back .............................
Well after the internet lead on my 16 month old laptop decided to disappear inside the casing I've had to send that away to be fixed. So now i'm using my old laptop which is only 1/2 gig
Today i only just managed to find the old e-mail with my password on it.
To the point now ................ Yes i will be at the picnic this weekend, hopefully Fri pm. Just got to fix my indicators, otherwise it might be a dodgy drive over there.
Supposed to be on nights Fri - Mon, but i think daytime Scamping and night time drinking sounds a much better deal.
Just spoken to Muttley and co who are down at Hayle in Cornwall on their hols and are coming back on Fri and hoping to over with us on Saturday.
Se y'all there

Re: SCAMP PICNIC
Another brilliant picnic, star of the show for me has to be Charlie on his quad bike.Good turn out too,18 Scamps (Bob Lilley left 1/2 an hour before the prizegiving),and Linda was blissfully happy that I had come home with 4 tropies to dust!! Well done dear she said!!
3 hours 50 minutes to do 200 miles with a caravan on the back, not one single holdup, that has to be a first!!

Re: SCAMP PICNIC
Wow, you made good time! Pleased you had a good journey home.
We are also home after our double journey - with 3 Scamps and a tow vehicle. Not quite as long as yours - by about 3 hours and 40 minutes I think!
Anyway, just a huge thank you to all those responsible for the organisation and, I should also add a thank you to all of our helpers who helped me to get Pepe to the weekend - albeit not quite finished! Best Mk 3! Chuffed to bits! Thank you everybody.
Hope to see you all soon.

Re: SCAMP PICNIC
After an unpromising (for me) start, a great weekend - managed to get stuck three times and not to do any serious damage. Sorry I had to leave early, but I needed to get home in good time, having tickets to that evening's Prom concert "Hooray for Hollywood" - WHICH WAS BRILLIANT!!!! (plug - watch it on BBC2, Sept 3rd, 9.00pm)

Re: SCAMP PICNIC
Can I send a big thank you to the Scamp Rescue Company...
Cheers for the recovery Tony, sorry to eat into your offroading time.
Big thank you for Colin for carrying loads of spares for woodstock.
Big thank you to the guys at Motorworld in Kidderminster, for getting a new fuel pump in less than 2hrs, on a bank holiday Monday.
Big thank you to Woz for alternative transport.
And last but by no means least, a big thanks for Matt Smith for getting to Stourport.(working on the advisories at the moment)
Nearly forgot, a big thank you to all scampers for being such a friendly bunch.
Neil
