Mongolia Charity Rally
It is now totally confirmed that Team REMIT (Royal Enfield Mongolian International Tours) will be leaving Old Nicks Tavern in Horncastle on Saturday 19th July at about 10am to start our 5 week charity ride to Mongolia.
Jim and John at Jim Allen Motorcycles have been diligently preparing the bikes for this marathon ride so I hope that we can do our bit and actually get both the Bullets to their final destination.
It would be really really good for us, and the event, if as many people as possible could come along to wave us off and also convoy with us for the first few miles.
The plan of attack is that Old Nicks will open the gates at around 8.30am ish on the 19th and will be offering Tea, Coffee and other soft beverages also they are going to be breakfast cobs, bacon, egg or sausage. All at very reasonable and reduced rates. Obviously I am not fully up to speed as to how this may clash with other things on peoples calendars, but it would really be a case of the more the merrier.
So please one and all try and come along to make sure Steve and I actually go. There are a number of B&B's and hotels in Horncastle and there is limited floor space at Steve's house, so please contact me if you think you might come along so we have an idea on numbers.

I think we have everything we need Although the men in the white coats haven't arrived yet to take us away to the funny farm. Could that be arranges at such a late date? I'm not too sure about going now, it's soooooooooo far.
This week has been such a roller coaster of emotions. Hope to see one or two of you bright and early Saturday moring to see us on our way.

Hattie & I saw Chaz & Steve off from Horncastle on Saturday. Hattie gave Chaz a big kiss and a hug.
Fingers crossed they have a great adventure and look forward to seeing them in five or six weeks.
