AGM at Newark....

I am saying this and straight to the point, So if I upset anyone, I say sorry now..But read on.
The AGM is in just 2 weeks away.
Last year there where some members that where moaning about the club, wasnt doing much. Martin had a lot on his plate last year and this, But the members that moaned about the club, did #uck all about it.
Every member can make the club more intresting by putting in a bit of a effort, Even if it just to say I know of a good place might be suitable for a event and the club can follow it up...... One thought can lead into a event good or bad, if we dont try it we will never know..
There is a lot of us who havent been everywhere in the country so we could try something new or even one or two of the old events just for the odd year will do..

So dont just come to Newark and have a moan, Bloody say something out LOUD.
Dont be frighten of making yourself look stupid, you do that driving a ugly Scamp.

Talking of events these 'alternative camping' holiday places look good. I'll have to look into it......

Well the cripple (me) will make another attempt at getting to a Scamp do on the 21st.

After breaking myself before the B/ham bash (sorry Mike) i will be going back to work this Sat night after being off for 4 weeks.

I have managed 2 Mini do's in the last 2 weeks but regretfully not in my Scamp

So keeping every thing crossed i will be fit for Newark.............oh yes and that little trip down south to Italy.

See you all in 2 weeks ish

Who's camping? Is there a designated meeting place? We intend going Friday evening..so if you're going to be there.. PM me and we can swap mobile numbers and meet up for a beer...or just look out for an environmently un-friendly Yank motorhome towing a half finished Scamp....

We always camp in a group at Newark.

Directions;

Turn left once you're through the main entrance and camp on the left opposite the old WC block (concrete sectional building almost at the end of the gravel road).

There should be several Scamps arround there.

We'll see you on Saturday night (I Hope!)

I think we're only coming on Sunday - I'm on holiday today, and Monday, so as always there's lots of DiY stuff to do at home. Hey, maybe I should put the tent up in the garden, and pretend I'm there?

Enjoy yourselves while I'm rubbing down/applying Sadolin to the back/french doors, moving the rest of the topsoil, and collecting elder flowers to make some more wine - You can never have too much wine in the house!

My proposal is that the club should pay for the S.O.C forum. That way we can get a really good, permanent site, and hopefully draw in more Scampers........... old, current, and new!

With an online shop, so we can pay our membership fees, deposits for events, etc.?
