Deal Off ....

Post  kevin1977 on Sun Aug 14, 2016 10:18 am

It seems you knew something I didn't. After discussing options regarding the V5 we amicably agreed not to proceed with the sale. A shame as it looked a good Scamp.

My hunt for a second Scamp continues .....

Is there any solid evidence that the car was in its present form - i.e. a Scamp rather than a Mini - when last MoT'd? If the registration details weren't a problem then, they shouldn't be an insuperable problem now. And sorry, no I don't have any info on its history.

It was a personal choice - I didn't want to deal with a mismatched V5 though I accept someone in a different position may have accepted this. Had this been clear I wouldn't have bid though as I say, I was informed afterwards and it all ended amicably.

My opening statement was responding to the previous post - Muttley knew it was registered as a Mini even if I didn't!
