It's a shame they've got rid of the paper disc's. There's nothing quite like getting one of the discs for free Very Happy

What makes me laugh is when you forget to tax it! They soon send a reminder! So you then fill in a form online and send it back without payment. Then they are happy! Laughing

That's strange - I always got a reminder before the renewal was due.

Road licensing - online.
Insurance records - online.
MoT - online.
Is automatic renewal by DD available yet?

Incidentally, I decided to try doing an online SORN for my Mk2, which has been laid up since 1992, before they were introduced, so legally it never required one. Fed in the V5 serial number and the registration, and the application went straight through immediately! One less hassle when I get round to selling.
