Hi Iam a recently new scamp owner and my Dad is looking to buy one as well. Is this one worth a punt? Iam slightly concerned that it has been up on ebay for some time and hasnt been bought. Is the price ok, going by the details given in the ebay listing?

Any help with this one will be much appreciated Smile

Scamps like Mini's are going up in price.

The majority of people will be put off by the price.

It depends what you want.
Do you want a cheap one for a project or do you want one ready to go.
If your a Mini Man then you will appreciate what is under the bonnet.

I bought my Mk3 off Ebay for £875 with no Mot.
It only needed Pads and shoes and it flew through the MoT
But some club members were aghast, but I won them around eventually Smile
beer normally does the trick.

You get what you pay for
Its up to you to decide if the price is right for you.

Welcome to the mad house Hug

Thank you very much for the welcome and the advice Very Happy

Sounds promising, I mean, ready to go is exactly what my Dad wants! It looks like a nice car, a few bits id change personally, my dad likes it but has a problem where he keeps changing his mind haha. He isnt in a position to travel over for a look. I will go and look for him, but essentially it will be a blind buy on his part.

We have both owned minis in the past. Ive had a couple a-series powered minis and currently own a swift engine mini and an elf, both need resto Sad my Dad had an 850 van when he first started driving.
