Interesting, it looks like a lot of work went into building it. Was there a Metro prototype of some sort I haven't seen anything like this. It looks like it's Metro based I wonder where the axle is from ?

The vehicle in question is an MDV.
These were made for Leeds County Council in the early 80's as work vehicles.
MDV, Metro Development Vehicle.
I once owned one and sold it to Chaz.
It ended up on the Isle of Wight.

It probably says Metro prototype on the logbook. Certainly looks a bit like a MK3 at the front.
