Front roof

Can anybody please tell me how most have done their roof, this years latest photos show a grey mk3 called spike his roof is what I'm after any help gratefully received. Wal

The skin from old garage doors makes good roofing as it has built in reinforcing.

Rt angle strips all round finishes it off

The hardest bit is sealing the windscreen edge as the water flow off the screen can seep (pour) under it.

My daughter lives over Southwold way, where are you located,
I was over there with Scamp and my folding Caravan at the start of this month.

Hi rob thanks for the info I'm going to pop out tonight and have an up and over away and have a new roof by tommorow ,Must remember to take the handle off!! I live in Clare Suffolk

Dont forget to have a lip over the front to prevent water ingress, say 1.5". Rubber or foam strip all round either on roof wear it touches box section or on box section, prevents draughts and leaks. Pro tek fasteners on inside rear edge to secure. Should be avaliable small enough so you dont hit your head when playing off the beaten track.
