IMM 31st July to 4th of August 2014

There isnt a massive problem, I merely stated I thought it seemed a bit like a rip off given a family would have quite a lot to pay. That was all. Im sure it like every other large scale event would be a fantastic time for all. I feel some have over reacted. I hope you all go and have a blast. I did not suggest anyone shouldnt go. We all splash out on these special shows and yes i understand the rare and interesting cars and people that attend. I take in the logistics of organising the stands,staff,camping,parking etc. id still like to think we can discuss items without getting annoyed so a Happy New Year too all.

You seem to have gone from "robbing perishers" and "perhaps its £65 per club" to "I thought it seemed a bit like a rip off" If you post something as provacative as "perhaps its £65 per club"  do you not expect some sort of response. I'm not particularly annoyed by your posts, but I am more concerned that your comments will put people off going to what should be a very good event.

If you think of the times you see me during the year,it probably costs me £65-£70 of fuel each time,as I've said before living in one of our countries extremities ( I.e. Hastings) we miss out on a great deal up in the midlands,but I do try and attend as many do's as I can. It's just nice to have an international event such as the IMM about 25 miles away from where I live for a change,I hope those who are coming have a great time and enjoy the event for what it is...... The 55th anniversary of one of our greatest British icons, THE MINI !!!!!

I think that's a good reason to celebrate.............I'll get off my soap box now.

More news about the IMM,if you wish to come as a day visitor then Sunday will be your only day. It is being called Mini 55 Day for obvious reasons and the cost is £15.00 for the day if you book in advance(under 12's free). If you are there for the weekend and you want to bring your Scamp down on a trailor or a van,there is no problem,there will just be an area for "delivery vehicles" to park after you have dropped the Scamps off.

According to Miniworld the last tickets at £65 will be available until 26th January. After that they will be £70 so get them NOW!!!!! (They will be on sale at Bingley Hall at £65)
