DONNINGTON KIT CAR SHOW 1ST & 2ND SEPTEMBER

I am sure that you will,by now,Kit and Mini showed out!! But this one looks like it could be different. Complete Kit Car Magazine are having on stand the 20 most iconic kit cars (i.e. those that have sold in thousands rather than the odd few the Dutton Phaeton,Jago Jeep,TVR,Ginnetta etc.). The Scamp mark is going to be included and Yellow Scamp will be on their stand. There will be voting for the different categories, and one will be named as the ultimate iconic kit car. There will also be racing there all weekend so it looks like being a good one. It is the first completely kit car weekend at Donnington since 2007 and SOC will have a plot there so the more we can get there the better. I have also been told that if I want to promote the club from the stand then I can do so,so hopefully I can design some flyers of all the different aspects of the owners club.

I didn't know that they still ran that show. Summer should have arrived by then so it could be a good show.

I don't know if there's camping & evening entertainment (there hadn't used to be). if there isn't everyone is more than welcome to camp at ours. there's a pub across the road and Donington is only 15 minutes away (8 if your in a hurry)

I did it in 6mins a couple of times in the Exige and that was sticking to the 30mph limits.......

I will certainly be bringing little caravan and be there for the 2 days. "8 people in an Eriba Puck until 2 am at Newark"
