GOODWOD REVIVAL AN ABSOLUTE MUST IN THE FUTURE

10 SPITFRES!! YES 10 SPITFIRE FLYING!! And if it had'nt been raining on Sunday it would have been 14 and a Lancaster. What an awsome sight.And to see Russ Swift in his Mini taking on the an American Ford Galaxy was prety special as well, close up and personal with the likes of Sterling Moss and John H nearly got run over John Surtees in a Rolls Royce.Brillaint weekend,complete with the Mods and Rocker having a punch-up(don't worry nobody got hurt - all stage acted).

Reg's Mum & Dad go every year, they always enjoy it.


Sadly that means we can't go, because somebody needs to stay and run business...

I say that every year. Did get to see the Spitfires from the top of goodwood hill on sunday though,so that was a bonus.

Just watched the Goodwood Revival 2011 on ITV4 - brilliant, maybe next year.

It's a mega bucks event,but if you can afford it then it's a must. Camping is about £150.00 and the tickets are approx. £100.00 for the 3 days. Camping you have to book about a zillion months in advance to secure one of the 200 allocated pitches, and boy is it well organised, it's an advanced ticket only event and it was sold out for the Saturday and Sunday. For those with tax exempt vehicles you can park quite close to the circuit,those without there are regular tractor busses to and from the track and they run until about 8.00 p.m. (when the track eventually closes). I could just see Martin in an RAF uniform with a giant handle bar moustache, I say WinCo' Spindler watcha recon!

Just seen the highlights on ITV4, the Ferrari GTO that Martin Brundle was driving was owned my Nick Mason and was worth a staggering 14 million quid. The value of the cars on that grid were over 100 million!! Awsome.
