CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHT TAKE 2

Post  wezgit daan saaf on Mon Jul 18, 2011 9:03 pm

O.K. I have reserved 30 places for the 3rd of December which will be there for 2 weeks, the room rate is 29.00 per person,so that's 58.00 per couple, the party,I think I misheard the guy today because I'm sure he said 26.95 per head but in the brochure it is only 21.95 per head,so bear with me and I will finalise it all tommorrow.Oh,when I do finalise it the deposit will be 10.00 per head for the party and the balance to be paid by the beginning of November(I will find the exact date tommorrow).I will put the link and the relevant phone numbers on tommorow,oh,forgot to tell you where - it is,as the last thread,Oxford Witney Four Pillars Hotel (Just off the A40)

O.K. he was right I didn't read the brochure. The party details are as follows;
ROOMS ARE 29.00 PER PERSON BASED ON 2 SHARING (i.e. 58.00 PER ROOM).THIS INCLUDES BREAKFAST.
SINGLE OCCUPANCY IS 29.00 + A 20.00 SUPPLIMENT (i.e. 49.00 PER ROOM)
ROOMS SHOULD BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE AND ALTHOUGH NO MONEY IS TAKEN YOU WILL NEED TO GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS.(AS ANY OTHER HOTEL DOES).
THE PARTY IS 26.95 PER PERSON AND A 10.00 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE THE SPACE(CHEQUE MADE PAYABLE TO ME,MR.C.WESTGATE,AND SENT TO MY HOME ADDRESS)
YOU NEED TO CALL THE CHRISTMAS CO-ORDINATOR ON 01993 893346 TO BOOK YOUR ROOM
I WILL PUT A LINK ON THE NEXT THREAD FOR THE DOWNLOADABLE BROCHURE.
[/u]WE NEED TO ACT QUICKLY AS THEY WILL ONLY HOLD THE PARTY BOOKINGS FOR 2 WEEKS.

The christmas co-ordinator is a daytime person, booking the room has to be booked through him to get the party night discounted room.I did not have any problem on the 2 or 3 occasions when I phoned, althogh I was told to ring after 10.00 am on one of the occasions.
AND JUST AS ANOTHER REMINDER I HAVE ONLY RECEIVED 7 PARTY DEPOSITS SO FAR.

About 30mins later a lady from the hotel rang me back though. One double room for The Scamp Owners Club festive party night, booked (at the discounted price). Very Happy Maybe the man who should be taking the bookings is off sick or something?

The Wezgit produces another great event, with about 30 attending party
Theres not many venues that can produce great volumes of food pipeing hot and all at the same time.

As Elaine said the Brekfast was another great troughing session, although one member was still looking for a pasty 2 hours afterwards.
As usual i will not be naming the culprit, but needless to say Wendy wouldnt let him have one Twisted Evil

The trip down the road to Boughton on the Water went well with a visit to see Brum in the Motor Museum, one of those places that was filled from the floor to the eaves and if you didnt keep looking up you would miss something.
Rum Tug saved the day turning up in his Scamp so we could officially call it a Scamp Event.

Once again congrat Chris and thanks.

Feb pub do next ???????????????????????

Many thanks Chris - a great night out.
santa Very impressed that designated drivers got free soft drinks all night - saved us a fair bit!
The meal was great for me. I was very impressed and the fact that all meals turned up piping hot was an amazing achievement for the hotel.

Many, many thanks Chris for all your hard work in organizing everything,
