SCAMP ALL POSHED UP
It was a few months ago now that a friend's daughter asked to be driven to her school proms concert in the Scamp, and could her friiend hitch a lift as well.Having only one seat, this,I thought, could be a problem. And then I was told that the friend coming along would be wearing a white ball gown and high heels!! In a Scamp with remnants of Stourport mud still in it from a couple of years ago!!! Still, problem now solved, rear seat installed, everything in the vacinity of the white ball gown now covered in nice new fluffy carpet stuck down with copius ammounts of trim tack. The prom is this Friday,so,hopefully the white ball gown will arrive in tact and clean, not sure about the expensive hair do's though with the hood off though!!

Well done Wezgit! when Jan sees your scamp it will be: Why isn't your scamp like chrissy wissy's.
Why dont you put checker plate on it. Why don't you paint it? I hate you Wezgit.

Hope it all goes well. May the sun shine!
Nic and her friend went to their prom in Daisy - but they did only go the last 100yards due to the hair problem!
Dawn, on the other hand, went with her friends in the trailer of my brother's Fergie!

Re: SCAMP ALL POSHED UP
Weather forcast is good tomorrow so hopefully we'll have the hood off.Starting off from the other side of Battle and will be parrading the Scamp and my 2 passengers down Battle High Street and down to the Powdermills Hotel.Went past the traffic ques to another school's prom tonight at the same venue and past 2 beautiful Shire horses pulling a cart with about 12 teenagers in,a Beuford,a Willys Jeep with 3 lads in it,and a London Routmaster Bus!!

They must be richer down your way!!!! Nic's friends used - a JCB, a caravan, a lotus and the inevitable humbies and completely classless limos.
Dawn's friends arrived in similar and one lad on a Harlie, accompanied by 3 others. Dawns group had the biggest cheer though!

That was the after,at the Powder Mills Hotel,I followed a 1930's Rolls Royce in and behind me in the que was a fire engine,on the way out I saw a kid on the back of a Vespa(vintage one and complete with the vintage helmets),a 1950's Studebaker, and a Lamborghini,It was worth going for the motoring spectacle!!
