JACKIE STEWART DOCUMENTARY Empty JACKIE STEWART DOCUMENTARY

I feel all nostalgic now,did you see the brilliant documentary about Jackie Stewart on BBC2,or more to the point did you see the other documentary on BBC4 the other week called "Grand Prix,The Killing Years" ? Little did we know, when we were 14-15 years old and catching the train from Bexhill to Swanley Junction and the bus up Death Hill to Brands Hatch, that we were watching history being made.Every time we went there would be another death,Jo Siffert,Jochan Rindt,Piers Corage, just to name a few of the unlucky ones.Exciting racing yes,but utter carnage, they were either brave or mad,or just both.
