I am having to sell my lovely Mk3 SWB scamp It is on ebay at the moment item number 330271106862 it is a really sad sale but due to impending major surgery I will be unable to drive for some time. If anyone can give me some sales pointers I would really appreciate it - thanks, Karen

Dont sell! it just put it under wraps till next year, thats what most of us do anyway.

It looks like a good one, alot better than some that have gone on to Ebay.

Can't promise to buy it cus I have to work out how much to get it to Bournemouth and the building trade is falling apart at the moment but it would be nice to have 2 scamps (keep each other company on dark winter nights).

I'm afraid I must sell as I will need a car with power steering post surgery and there just isn't enough room to fit ps under the bonnet and it's too spensive:( The start price is £475.00 but obviously I am hoping for a bit more than that to buy the cruddy eurobox I will need for the next year or so (can't afford 2 x minis and a eurobox) My other min is a very rare restoration project (1 of 6) then the one with the MOT has to go Life is so unfair..... I DON'T WANT A EUROBOX!!!!!

FWIW my mobile shed, a.k.a. Suzuki Wagon R+ (= Vauxhaul/Opel Agila) has power steering built into the column, using no space at all in the engine room. Not a lot of help in your case Karen I'm afraid, but it may give someone ideas for a future project.

Euroclone = the one with the grey plastic dashboard. I'm not mad on it - power steering on anything smaller than a Big Healey, there must be something wrong with the suspension - but it does the job, and the saving on petrol compared with the Scamp more than covers the garage bills...
