Turkey Run Date and day??????????

Just looking at the calendar on soc website, says turkey run Sunday 27th December! By my calendar I reckon the 27th is Monday not Sunday.
can anyone confirm day and date for the turkey run ? Monday would be better!

Sorry Mike, its on the Monday which is the 27th...How many of you lot are coming? and do you want a cheap breakfast at my house?...
I will get the cook to get extra bacon, as my part of putting the food on is laying the table for 15 or so...Good old Rosie..
Is there any newbies coming? if so MP me please...

Rick, no newbies just me and kieran. will be spending christmas with mum in nottingham, so hopefully we will be in newark in good time to test Rosie's culinary skills

Sorry folks,I'll still be stuffed full of food and probably hung over from Sunday,roll on the warmer weather for the 400 mile return trip then I may be there.(I know...Southern wooss and all that!!)

Don't worry Chris there is a southerner that lives nearby.

Rick and I went out yesterday to check out the lanes.

Had great fun in the snow and ice around the Mansfield area.

Booked us in the Greendale Oak in Cuckney for lunch which will not be a carvery this year but something off the menu board

This ranges from a sandwhich to steak and chips with a variety in between.

Whats the weather / road conditions like up Newark way at the moment ?

Will probably be heading either the A46 way or M42/A42 way.

If anyone knows what these routes are like it would be appreciated.

If anyones relatively sober on sunday night & could post a quick traffic update, that would be excellent.

Hopefully see you on monday, will hopefully be setting out about 6:00 ish.

Newark has had very little snow in the last few weeks.

I travelled down to Nuneaton last weekend to visit family and the roads were fine.

You seem to have had much more then we have, but then Newark lies in a valley so we are don't tend to see the worst of it.

Will update on Sunday night if I can remember...........

I travelled down the M 42- A 42 the last weekend and the roads were fine.

Well, earlier on in the thread Rick said that Rosie was doing breakfast for 15, or so people (all members I assume). And that was before you said that you and Kieran were going......... so I guess 10-12 Scamps.
