Re: Moke/Scamp on Ebay
Aldi had a blue one of those. I think it's now on the Island of Wight (A white rock in the middle of the Solent apparently).
MDV
I can't remember the exact story, but I think it goes..........
I purchased from Aldi, he was using it to transport Mini stuff to Germany on his various trips.
( The MDV has a rear beam and leaf springs, so that it can carry a bit of weight ).
After that, I did a deal with Chaz..........
And then Chaz sold it to a Club member on the Isle of Wight...........
I remember delivering it for Chaz to the ferry where it was to be collected.
The chap who purchased it had never been off the island in his whole life..........
As for MDV's, they were used by Leeds County Council as work vehicles.............
Hope this helps..........

Pics now on Ebay
Well they are if you've got a good imagination.
It does just about look like the MDV in the other Link.

Re: Moke/Scamp on Ebay
We asked for pictures. They ones they put last minute on the advert didn't show much at all. Not a great way to sell something. Had it looked vaguely like it 'should' have, we might have been interested for that ridiculously low price...

That's exactly what we were thinking, though it would have been sat at the back of a fairly long queue to be fixed But it seemed so unusual and cheap that it was worth breaking the current car purchase ban in force in the OSR household
