Although it may appear that I am I am not fixated with putting things on top of a scamp I dont own yet.

Retail is Hidious but making a tent cant be that hard?
I am investigating the costs of having one made by a local tent guy.
I have located a local Nomad pickup that may fit the bill. Not exactly what I want but i'm in no rush.

I agree.
A Nomad was better designed and made that a Scamp.
And before you say anything, I have owned 5 Nomads and lost count of the Scamps I have owned and I still know which one I prefer.
Better still is a Gecko, but that is another story.............
