FREE BEER !!!!
Now you Scampers, I have your attention. I would like to know if any of you members have any road cones or wooden stakes, so we could have some games with the Scamps(auto test) that you could bring to stourport we need about 30 all together. you don't have to bring that many if we all bring a few or even one, we will have plenty. you can have them back after the weekend.
The stakes can be 2x2 inch by 2 foot 6 or something like that.
P.S Sorry about the heading of this post..

Re: FREE BEER !!!!
Rob Bland with the Suzuki Scamp has loads of stakes as he prepared a load for Stourport the other year. It might be worth getting in touch with him.
I have 4 steel stakes if that helps.

Re: FREE BEER !!!!
I always keep a nice, sharp Ash stake along with mallet in the boot of the car alongside a spare silver-tipped bullet and some Holy water...well.. you never can be too careful around Stourport, can you?

I saw Rob on the way home last night (he looked like Streethawk on his FS125 Only joking it was a GoldWing really) and he'll be bringing the stakes along for the autotest.
Thanks Rob.
Thanks Rob.
Re: FREE BEER !!!!
So does this mean we dont need any more?
If we did I'm sure Tony could find some from somewhere - haven't mentioned it to him yet though!

Re: FREE BEER !!!!
Sorry to be a killjoy but any autotesting must not be done in the camping field, we did it one year and the farmer went ape, it destroys the grass for his sheep and cows, it also attracts unwanted attention from passing joe public who want to come and watch.
So I suggest the top field below the trig point which already has a track - I know I'm not the Pres anymore but I did not want the club to get in any hot water

Re: FREE BEER !!!!
I was thinking about a slow bit of fun ie going in and out of some stakes blind folded, with a navigator and things along that line.
