Hi from the cotswolds, just aquired this little baby!

Have no idea what the canvas roof is off, but it isnt a scamp as i'm sure you can verify heh. I'm thinking of doing something along the lines of what trr motorsport has in "k". I love that angular roof look and i think the mk1 front end would accent it well.

I'm completely new to the scamp scene, but a very long standing member of the mini scene (have the battle scars to prove it Rolling Eyes )

Bought the car taxed and tested and drove it without and with the current roof on. i must say, i love it! her indoors however... i'll bring her round to it Twisted Evil

Thanks for the welcome.
I have been looking with interest at the stourport meet and I think I may be able to attend. However I don't think the scamp will be up to it just yet. (clutch is slipping badly and I can't see the time being er.... Allowed :p )

Orbski, please don't seriously change the outline of your Scamp! Shocked Granted, their design lends themselves readily to modification, and it seems no two Scamps are alike, but you appear to have a superb specimen of a Mk1 pretty much in its original condition (not counting the 12" wheels), and there are precious few of them about now.

Hope you can make it to the Picnic, you'll see what I mean. Smile

Oh she'll be there. Looks promising on the scamp making it now!

Got a clutch plate so fingers crossed It'll be fitted this weekend, weather permitting :-/.

Louise (my fiancée) will be driving my mini down behind me as it will be the scamps first real outing.
