L2B,MADE IT!
Well,Scamp made it there and back with no hitches apart from the waterfall that was beeing driven under the windscreen frame and all over our feet. Arrived at Crystal palace and the weather was fine then got as far as Horley and it started to drizzle, after some debate we decided to put the side screens on and then the heavens opened, the A23 resembled the Niagra falls rather than the main route from London to Brighton. Finally we got to Brighton(about 10.30 am)and the sun came out,a bit windy as you will see by the pictures on the main website.Take a look at the pictures, when Chris puts them on,there is a Wolsey with suicide doors and no roof(the driver wore a red flying helmet!),and also take a look at the chequre plate Scampalike,Andy McLean said it was an imposter and not a Scamp, but in fact it was,I'll tell you what mark after they've hit the website,oh,also check out the Mk2 with the little side stack exhaust!!

We made it too. 3 1/2 hours to get to Brighton on saturday and 4 1/2 to get home last night. Didn't spot any Scamps, certainly no Nomads but the Mokes were out in force on Madeira Drive.
